Origin
Built closer to the ground than most.
VERDEVOLT PROIECT S.R.L. was incorporated in Cluj-Napoca in February 2016. For its first eight years (2016–2024), VerdeVolt operated as a Romanian engineering and turn-key contractor across construction, photovoltaic installation and balance-of-plant work. Over that period, it built the licensing, banking and regulatory relationships that any Romanian renewable project eventually needs.
In 2024, the company received ANRE D1 attestation no. 21749 / 27 May 2024 — the formal Romanian certification for design of electrical lines at all standardized nominal voltages, aerial and underground. This is not an EPC license; it is a design and engineering credential. It is the prerequisite for any project the company designs or coordinates.
In 2026, we launched SolarPlants — a productized brand for international investor work. Turkish family conglomerates, Gulf sovereign wealth funds, and European private equity now have one Romanian partner with predictable engagement formats instead of ten fragmented suppliers. The first SolarPlants investor summit ran in Trabzon, May 2026.
The structure is deliberate. Romanian regulators, banks and counterparties contract with the eight-year entity. International investors recognize the published brand. The work is the same. The doors are different.

The team
Radu Eremciuc
Founder · Managing Director, VerdeVolt Proiect
Radu Eremciuc has spent twenty-five years in Eastern European infrastructure and capital deployment — construction general contracting, turn-key project management, and cross-border project finance for industrial and renewable assets. Since 2022 he has focused exclusively on Romanian photovoltaic, battery storage, and hybrid projects, building the network of bank, regulator and grid operator relationships that any institutional investor entering the market eventually needs.
He holds an MBA from Newport University (USA) and two bachelor's degrees — International Law, and Banks & Stock Exchange — relevant to the cross-jurisdictional structuring work he leads at VerdeVolt. He speaks Romanian, English and Russian.
